2023 Bonfire & Firework Extravaganza

Mark Lane, Shaw, OL2 8QG - Saturday 4th November 2023 5:30 - 10pm

“We are delighted to be hosting our 2023 annual bonfire & firework display. A night to remember! Gates open at 5:30pm with no admissions after 7pm. The Bonfire will be lit at 6pm with the fireworks starting at 7:15pm. Along with the bonfire and fireworks display, there will be food on sale by Woo’dby Food, a licenced bar, kids fairground rides and music late into the evening.”

Standard tickets cost:

  • £5.00 for adults
  • £3.00 for children (5 to 15 years)
  • Free for kids 0 to 4 years
  • Family Ticket £15 (2 adults and up to 3 kids under 16 years)

Bonfire and Fireworks Display

Bransdale Avenue, Royton, Oldham, OL2 5TX - Sunday 5 November 2023 Gates open 3pm

A bonfire and fireworks display perfect for families! The gates open at 3pm with the bonfire being lit at 5pm. Once the bonfire is crackling away, the fireworks will be ready for liftoff around 7pm.

Food and drinks will be available, including cans and hot chocolates! Sweet stalls will also be attending the event. Please note that all stalls will be cash only and no on-site parking will be available.

Tickets are available here and are priced at £5 for an adult (16+) £4 for 2-15 and under 2’s are free!

Oldham Council’s Big Bang Bonfire

Big Bang Bonfire 2023

Oldham Edge, OLDHAM, Lancashire, OL1 2HD – Thursday 2nd November 2023 5pm

Oldham Council are once again hosting their Big Bang Bonfire for its 11th year! The bonfire is the largest event of its kind in the borough and will take place at Oldham Edge Playing Fields. The event starts at 5pm and final arrangements are currently underway for what promises to be one of the biggest, loudest and most colourful bonfire events ever in the area – including a fireworks display. The event is free to attend and open to all (Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult).

Safety

The following are not allowed on-site and will be confiscated: alcohol, gazebos, barbecues, fireworks

sparklers or any naked flames.

You are advised to wear suitable clothing and footwear and asked to discard any rubbish in the bins on site or take it home to dispose of.

Parking

Free parking will be available in all council-owned town centre car parks and on-street pay and display parking bays from 3pm on the day. As in previous years demand for spaces will be high, so you are advised to use public transport where possible.

Free parking is also available at The Town Square car park of Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre from 3pm till close.

FIREWORKS AT THE FARM

Cockfields Farm Park, Lees Road, OL6 8AR – 3rd, 4th and 5th November From 5pm

Cockfields Farm are hosting a safe and low bang firework display, perfect for the young ones in the family. The low bang display will be timed along side a musical backdrop! As well as the fireworks the farm buildings will be open for you to see and feed the animals but there will be no handling sessions available. There will also be a mini disco taking place at both 6 and 7:30pm, rounding up with an 8pm close.

Admission to the Farm is from 5.30pm where Food Trucks will be fired up for a bite to eat.

Tickets are priced at £12 per attendee, while under one’s are free. Click here to book your tickets!

Chadderton Bonfire and Firework Display

23 Chadderton Fold, Chadderton, Oldham OL1 2RR – Saturday 4th November from 6pm

Starting at 6pm and ending at 11pm, the pub is hosting a large bonfire, professional fireworks display and a fully licensed bar. Tickets are not needed for this Chadderton Bonfire Night event and entry is free but it is recommended to arrive early!
